Quick update on this. I have found a pair of 3-wire motors BUT also discovered that late Goose did not use the '3-wire' Ducellier motors - they use the 2-wire, exactly like a Pantera. Not sure when the switch was made. I heard Steve L had the older type in his '69; my #1010 was built c. Sep '70.
One possible failure item on these motors is the magnets - they are adheared to the inside of the housing and if they choose to pop loose you have a problem. The motor may run a short time but the magnet is then free to move around and that leads to a jam. It's a pain but the motors can be disassembled and magnets re-glued to the housing. There are modern replacements avaialable, but repair may be an option if you experience trouble! Regards, Nate S
