Optima Battery

It hit 65 today in Cincinnati so I went for a spin.

When I went to put the car away, I opened the hood to disconnect the battery and heard a hissing? noise coming from the battery. It's the first Optima I have ever had, so not sure if this is normal. Have never noticed it before, so not sure if it always does this.

Anyone ever heard this?
