Optima Red or Yellow?

I did a search and came across this post:

My Red Top died after 7 years of fantastic performance. I forgot to disconnect it with my cutoff switch and left it "on" for 5 weeks as it sat in my garage. Now it's too far gone to recharge.

Doing some research, I'm now thinking that maybe the next one should be Yellow considering, a) it sometimes sits idle for weeks (although disconnected) and b) I now have NAV, and lots of audio / video with hard drives drawing power.

I read that the Yellows can be completely discharged and still come back to life. I use the CTEK charger, but only when the battery is low.

The cold crank power is slightly less on the Yellows and they cost a little more.

Any suggestions?
