Finally! Mr. Originality speaks up! I looked all through threads here, plus some super low mileage cars and even Mustang sites.

What it 'looks' like to me is the Autolite filter sticker. I ordered all the stickers that seem to be period correct and will match what I find to the fuzzy photographs.

Even the low mileage white 74 at Canepa doesn't have the same mark on the right head as my 74 did when I got it. (A yellow circle of paint with a number in it.)

Some of this stuff is left to interpretation I guess, in the best of Italian or semi-disorganized workers of the moment.

Will share what I find.

Vypr, do you have any photos of your engine compartment thus far? Any details there to share?
