Btw, Denis corrected me (Mike, I'm usually wrong more than once every 40 years...I think I've made a life out of it, actually ) but apparently only early cars had 7.5" rears-- rears went to 8.0"--Lee

ps. ..and my guess is that that one time in the 70's you weren't wrong, just early...
