Dear Fellow Pantera enthusiasts,
After years of research, development, and every penny I ever saved (and much more that I borrowed), we have, in the last hour, parked the first car in our first fully automated parking structure in Sherman Oaks, CA as part of an apartment complex. This first car was lowered into the subterranean garage automatically and shuttled to an available space. There are also 3 above grade levels. While there are numerous automated parking structures worldwide, ours is the first as part of an apartment building, and the only one which uses bolt together (like an erector set) structural steel to accomplish this as opposed to concrete decks. As soon as the building and the structure are complete next month, my Pantera (and my other sports cars) will be videotaped, photographed, and sent all over the world as part of the promotional campaign and press reports. Like a proud parent, I just wanted to share with my Pantera friends. (By the way, any other owners who want to have their cars included in the promotions, let me know, and I'll make sure you're informed of the dates we'll be taping.
