I just had my 71 repainted to the original red color. A previous owner had it completely repainted blue. What you could do is find a spot on the car that was not repainted over the factory paint. For example, behind the door trim panels, behind the trim panel on the engine fire wall or behind the head lights. It depends on how completely the car was previously repainted. Then go to the Pantera parts book, pick out a paint color that you think it might be and have an auto paint shop mix and paint a chip for comparison. My body shop did that, then used their high tech paint camera to convert the color to a modern technology paint.
