paint prep, and Hinges (Again)

Finally I have got my hinges that I had repinned back from the nickel Platers.
I thought it would offer more protection, they being in an always hostile environment, but
they do look a bit too bling for comfort.

also a few pics of my paint removal and repairs before it goes for a repaint on August 8.
I had a pair of MX5 old seats for another car
its a Miata where you are, so I did a temporary fit just for when it goes for paint, But very surprising what a good fit it is, and comfortable too. Pity I had new original seat covers and foams fitted a year or so ago!
