The car you are seeking information about was originally raced in Group 5 livery (1977 - 1980), with all the vents in the body work, and the yellow/brown paint. The car no longer looks like that. It was modified in 1981 to race in Group C.

The Pantera in question was purchased by David and Linda Adler in its final, Group C, livery a few years ago. They restored the car, showed it at the 2007 Concorso Italiano and then put it up for sale. It is still listed for sale on the PI Motorsports website.

This Pantera has no chassis number, it was built in 1977 upon a spare chassis acquired directly from the factory. Philippe Olczyk gave it a chassis number 001 in his book "DeTomaso Macchine da Corsa" page 436.
