As I understood it, that's pretty common. They would bang out a number of bodies, and get in a number of motors, and poke them in. The motor numbers and body numbers were not precisely aligned.

Anyway - my guess is that you have the original block in there, but you cant guarantee that someone didn't just get his own set of stamps and duplicate the number. And you certainly can't say what's inside the block... You would hope any changes are an improvement.
