Pantera #1628 - Custom rear deck

My 71 has a rear deck that I have never seen in any other pictures of Pantera's. The 2 raised sections could be vented with louvers or slats similar to a Countach or Ferrari to allow heat out of engine. Thoughts and ideas are welcome
