Here's a question from a newbie...Since it's a 74, then it's an "L" model, right? (what's that mean anyway?) and that means that it originally had rubber bumpers....right? I'm totally OK with the delete there, but don't the L models also have the molded bump where the front turn signals mount? And thus, on this car, are those deleted too...IE custom body work? Or an older style front under-thingie (from when the signals were part of the mini-bumper)? Set me straight.


L models are the "Lusso" (Italian for luxury) models. L models were introduced in '72 so in '72 you had the pre-L with chrome bumperettes and the L with rubber 5-mph bumpers. www.provamo.com is an excellent website for information.
