Jake, I agree with you on the wheels/tires. They do seem to be set closer together especially when viewed from the front right like in that picture at the bottom.

Are there different lengths of transaxles and different suspension components for a real GT5?

Or do you suppose it was lowered a bit which wouldn't allow for proper spacing?

I've been in contact with the seller. Fortunately, I have some time to contemplate as I'm off to Vermont until next Thursday. If I haven't talked myself out of it (or it hasn't sold)

I'll go see it next weekend.
