Welcome

I've tried both PM and Meziere starters but could never get them shimmed to work well. I ended up going a different route and much cheaper as well.

DB Electrical has worked great for me. I purchased two starters for less than half the cost of the Meziere. Part number below.

I seemed to remember an alternator thread on this forum where someone had the bracket spaced wrong. I'm sure you can find it on here if you do some sleuthing.
