Was there a "standard" antenna fitted by dealers when the cars were new??

For all you 'original' freaks, here is what was really original.

The cars came off the docks with...

No outside rear view mirrors. They were NOT in the car's interior, not a specific part specified by De Tomaso. LM dealers added a standard Ford mirror, sometimes left and right.

No radio. Again, not in a box on the front seat, not an invoice listed option. Sure, there were standard styles in use in that time, some even had a vertical aligned faceplate. But none were original.

Likewise, no radio antenna. See above.

If you want something 'typical' for the year of import, that is is different story.

But true original means you will have a proper LM radio delete plate in the console, no outside mirrors and no radio antenna.

And in related modes, you will have 7" & 8" Campies, all red lens tail lights, still have the spring spacers installed, use the stock Autolite carb, etc, etc.

Not too many Panteras out there that are 100% original. I'd be surprised if there are more than ten here in the states that truly qualify
