Stock Pantera cast aluminum gas pedals tend to crack in two if abused, but are easily TIG-welded back together. If you don't grind the weld down to make it look pretty, the repair may be a little stronger than stock. No rubber pad as-stock on the gas pedal but some guys glue a piece of stairway traction material on for wet days. This also works for clutch & brake pedals; my shoes always stripped the stock rubber covers off during autocrossing.
