Pantera illumination input needed

Hello everyone,

As expected, when I purchased #5606 a couple of weeks ago, the headlights, tailights and turn signals are marginal, at best, compared to "modern" automobiles. Thank goodness, I have a yellow car that is inherently more visible at night.

I cleaned all of the lenses today with Meguires "Plastix" and they now shine like they are brand new. However, the illumination of these lenses when the lights are on is still pretty weak.

What would anybody think about putting white reflective tape inside the lense buckets to "pump up" the intensity of the lighting? Before I try this, but I wonder if there might possibly be a heat issue that would develope somehow?
