Mark - I used a Nissan Armada for the trip. Averaged about 14.5 going out and about 12.5 coming back. 4600 miles total. Haven't added up the fuel receipts yet. It was surely more than getting it shipped out but at least my way I didn't have to wait a month or longer and I had control.

Texas, New Mexico and Arizona were awesome with a 75 MPH speed limit. CA just about killed me with the 55 MPH for vehicles towing trailers. I found 65 to be OK as 2 or 3 cops passed me like I was standing still.
