The Pantera is really a great car to rediscover.
There is just something about a Mangusta that is next to impossible to resist. That is if you are one that has seen the Detomaso light and "gets it". Not everyone does.
My personal opinion is that as suggested, a Pantera is a type of ultimates. It's a bit ahead of it's time in thinking and the initial execution could have been better BUT Detomaso really didn't have a model to follow with it. He was really kinda all on his own.
That 351cj in that '74 GTS did sound pretty good didn't it?
