I think then logically you need to install some kind of a dolly that the car can be pushed around on.

Here, where I am, I don't know of any paint shops that I am on speaking terms with who will agree to take a car that is not drivable. I don't know how they are going to push around a freshly painted car and they are not willing to take up the entire shop with this one car that is not simple to move around.

I personally think that the chassis and the exterior paint need to be dealt with separately in most cases unless this shop is equipped to deal with a car on dollies.
