Your question is a good one. In California, where we are located, a California resident must pay certain sales taxes, DMV fees and document fees. Our sales tax varies from county to county and the tax basis that is applied is figured on the rate where the buyer lives, not where we are located. Also, since all prices are negotiable, we can't compute the final fees until we know what the agreed purchase price is. If you are an out of state resident, you may not have to pay any taxes or fees at all to the state of California unless you accept delivery at our location or tow it home yourself. If that were to happen, all of the above mentioned taxes and fees would be added to the price. The bottom line is that we can't present these added costs until we know the final price, method of delivery and residence of the buyer. Keep in mind that the seller pays the consignment fee to PI Motorsports, Inc. while at an auction, both the buyer and seller pay some type of fees generally. I hope this answers your questions.
