THe thing you call a 'GTS' I assume is the GT5-S, built from 1985 to about 1989 and never officially imported. Some 35 raw bodies were imported by Amerisport in Ohio, fitted with rebuilt 351Cs and ZF transaxles, then sold in '85-87 not as DeTomaso Panteras but as 'Amerisports' with their own serial numbers besides the Italian ones. So there are not many GT5-S cars in the US- probably less than 50- and they get $50-$60,000 when they are sold. There are a few early cars that have converted the bodies (in the real GT5-S, the wheels, brakes and interiors are also different). Some are fiberglas while others are all-metal; they are also called "wide-body" Panteras. The all-metal conversions have some 55 FEET of welding done to add the new body lines, so figure on about $15-$17,000 to do this at a shop on a car you already own (the parts alone are over $10,000).
