I was pretty sure you would have.. As I have said before, you have probably forgotten more about DeTomaso´s, than most owners will ever know about them.
The problem is, that it probably is more worth to you as a professional, than to any individual owner. In any case it would be unfair to try to convince you that you should share the list, as one way or another it forms a part of your livelyhood.
Then again, even though I´m sure I will come knocking on Rolands door for DeTomaso specific parts with DeTomaso prices(And will be glad to do so), I´m understandably less than thrilled about the prospect of buying parts from a mass production saloon from a supercar specialist. I don´t think I´m the only one who was at least partly drawn to these cars due to the relative ease, that the major components can be maintaned, in relation to their competition.
When I was researching which car to buy, Iso Lele was one of the options on the list. Lot of the same characteristics as the Longchamp I ended up with due multiple reasons. In any case, the Iso people have the Barry Twitchell´s list and we have lot of published info(a lot of it from Roland), but just not complied in to a single list.
These cars have so little publicity and so little information about them publicly available, that I think that it might even increase their value, if they were more accessible to a beginner. Both with more of them appearing in the press and more technical data availalbe about them in the public domain.
As far as the publicity goes, I am planning to get a permission to publish the articles, that I have collected about the Longchamp in non-profit web site and will help anyone who wishes to do the same to the Deauville.
p.s. The link page would hopefully have both Jaeckel+Partner Gmbh and Pantera International, if it is OK for them.
P.p.s Roland: If you do decide to accept Dutchie´s offer of a bottle of fine whisky, I would most definately add another one into the loot.
