My late 1972 right-hand-drive GTS has the brake and clutch master cylinders on the left side of the car (as on cars for the US and mainland Europe).
There are 2 long tubes connecting the brake and clutch pedal to the pedal box. These run between the heater and the bulkhead.
All the early right-hand-drives cars that I have seen are this way.
Later right-hand-drive cars have the clutch and master cylinder on the right hand side of the car and connected to the pedals in the normal way.
Perhaps all the late cars have two pedal boxes.
