My wheel specs:

17x11
5 on 4.5 bolt pattern
6.5" Backspacing.

Front:
17x8
5" Backspacing. Originally I did 4.5", and that pushed the front tires
out too far and damaged the fender lip. I do rub the inside at full
lock with the 5" spacing, but the inside fender is smooth and won't
hurt the tire.
