Chuck, you're the only person I know who has driven a legless insect. The tires on that thing are like, what, from a wheelbarrow? Wow.
You've got me to thinking (dangerous) about something. My 14 year old and his friends are all getting more into cars, but it's sporadic or limited to what they see on TV. I may try to assemble the very few car guys around here and have a little 'show and tell' with them and their school age children some Spring Saturday.
Could do it at either at the school or the world's stinkiest storage building (mine, was a dealership downtown here when Dinosaurs roamed the earth). It'd be fun regardless.
I believe your idea is a little entertainment and exposure couldn't hurt. I totally agree. By the way, my wife's family are Meltons. Promise. Could the sick-o car gene have jumped through marriage?
