He's not kidding. I got a few different compounds (including a nice brick of that white) and I just finished polishing a few little things in the front trunk. I never did this before. So I had the grinder out, two different drills and my dremel. It took longer to clean the garage than polish the brake fluid resvoir cap and a few lines and nuts! But it sure takes the years off the car.
