Reply to "pop-up light malfunction"

The interior switches in the Pantera are probably the worse quality ever made. They break and stop working just from taking them out and putting them back in. Total garbage.
I went through 3 headlight switches when I was redoing my wiring just from unplugging the wires to the switch and plugging them back in.

I had a switch go bad one night on a road trip in the middle of the desert on my way to California at 2 AM. It just burned up and filled the compartment with smoke. Oh what fun it was driving about 50 miles with no lights other than the moon light.

I finally got to a truck stop and bought a simple 2 prong switch for 5.00. Hooked up the bucket motor wire and the lights wire. Was able to drive the rest of the way with this switch & lights. Got pretty warm, but none the less, it got me the rest of the way there. I still have this switch and keep it in my travel bag of tools and parts just in case.

Get a switch from your local auto parts store. Hook it up and see if they work then.
