The blue wire that is spliced in to the red along with green/black striped wire must be correct as it heads off into the bundle of wire that goes to the relay panel. Like the green one, it just looks strange.

There is another wire that looks suspect that I need to trace out. It is tapped into the fuse panel with the red wire, but then has an inline fuse.
