I have not looked into it but there are internals to the power steering which can reduce the force tuning the feedback to what you like.

I am putting power steering on mine but the raq came from a smaller car. There is actually a lot to getting all the geometry correct. There is a lot more to it then simply swapping a raq. I should be painting the car in Fem or march so the final install won't be till this spring.
