Yes, you need to either purchase a Euro rad cap from an import shop OR take your car to a radiator shop and have them cut off the very top of the coolant bottle and solder an American coolant lip which would allow you to use an American cap.

OR you can do as I did and purchase stainless steel bottles from your "favorite" vendor which already comes with an American cap ready to go.
