Reply to "Primer Question for painters"

I have done cars both ways etch primer based cars and epoxy based cars.Never had an issue with either one,but if you use epoxy do not apply etch primer only epoxy.Advantages of etch primer is that you can use body fillers on top with good adhesion.Etch primers have been used for decades including vinyl wash which was also considered an etch primer.The only time you have to be careful is when you are dealing with galvanized metals.
