Just checked and did not find that plate immediately visible. I have not yet pulled off carpet around the 3 reservoirs or the latch mechanism. What part of the carpeting covers the plate -- the drivers side where the reservoirs reside or the firewall where the hood latch resides? I did find the stamp stating exemptions on the inside of the hood.

Also, I noticed quite a bit of leaves, etc in the cavity below the louvers in front of the windshield fluid sprayers? Is there a way to get in there and clean it out?
