All true, but as long as

you don't mind lots of work &

you are not in a hurry &

have the space to work &

have extra money to spend &

are not necessarily after a pure stock concorse winner &

you might just pull it off!!

I found the classic basket case two years ago (shell with virtually no major parts) and just about have it to rolling status at this point. Lots of time and work, and some money, but a great deal of fun and rather than restoring a VW or a Camaro, someday I'll have something special. Anyway good luck, there are some project cars out there, just be patient and keep looking.
