Kirks' Quads use the Hella 90mm units, which are also available as HID units. Talk to Kirk and he could probably supply them in HID (high, low or both), but be prepared for a signifcant cost increase, the HID Hellas run $500 each unit alone. You can easily convert the halogen ones to HID with a couple of the $200 type kits available on ebay etc.

Johhny Woods fabrictaed his own version using the same Hella units that he has converted to HID high and low beam.
