Yes, new dryer although I had a leak initially in the new evaporator, had to get it repaired and taped off the lines while it was getting repaired. Then had a high pressure line get burned by the header because I didn't tie wrap it out of the way. I lost almost all refrigerant as a result of that. I taped off the compressor and the condenser ends where they connected while I had that hose repaired. Hmm..maybe that dryer should be replaced. I did pull a vacuum on it before filling it. Would you happen to have a part # on that dryer so I could get it locally? I think the expansion valve takes place of that evap valve? What are your thoughts on the 2.5 pounds of refrigerant?
