Racing Seat Recommendations

This weekend, my Son and I spent our time driving the Pantera at Willow Springs. I noticed when I got home that my back was unbelievably sore. When driving I noticed we were pulling some nice G-forces in the turns and it was difficult to keep ourselves centered in the seat, despite having 5 point harness’s in the car.

I am in my 50’s and still ride dirt bikes. It is interesting that my back is more sore than a weekend of riding dirt bikes. I know we were driving the car much harder than we have in the past and the condition of my back seems to corroborate that feeling.

So to those of you with racing experience, my question is this… Any recommendations on an affordable seat that will fit the Pantera and hold me in the correct position without having to strain my back so much. I currently have stock 71 seats in the car to help with helmet clearance, but they don’t give any side load support.

Recommendations?
