Reply to "Ram Air Box"

This has been discussed before. A couple issues were mentioned. First, it won't fit under the stock engine cover (if you intend to use it) and second, and more critical, is how to get air in. To get effective air flow the scoop has to be around 4" from the surface of the car. The "elephant ear" scoops sold by vendors fill this requirement but they are only held in by the window gasket and are prone to "disengaging" from the car at speed.
