It looks like it is not an auction, but being offered at only $43K.

I didn't see a reason for the ebay ad to say it was a project car as the video look like it was ready to drive.

there is a ProvaMo page with similair sales ad, However the seller does say
"This is a very rare 1972 DeTomaso 874 Pantera"

this looks like another oppertunity I wish I could go get
