Hey Mikael,
In 2006 I wrote a little story about a rear suspension fix on my Deauville. You will find it on the Swedish Club webpage.
I did not have anything from the factory either. Chose a preload near whats normal for a standard GM rear axle pinion bearing. Mine ended at 0,5 Nm resistance. It's better starting low, no problem increasing preload but almost impossible to lower it without destroying the bearing.
