Reply to "Rear trunk felt"

This is my opinion. I have two weaknesses. One is tracing out bad electrical problems, and the other is doing upholstery so it looks perfect (or even decent). So.... after fiddling with my front & rear trunks for weeks usind all manner of felt pieces, secret glues etc to fit the compound curves properly, I finally took the car to a local street-rod upholstery shop. They did the job for $200 each, in gray felt of my choice, in one day. Now, 8 yrs later, it still looks great, has not come loose and IMHO was worh the money. As Dirty Harry said, "a man's gotta know his limitations...." It may be possible to do in your garage by one 'not skilled in the art'.... but I haven't seen it happen yet.
