when you looked at the original studs, was a definate interferance with the recess in the wheels?

(If there is true interferance) did you speak with spacer supplier to see if 30mm was possible?

while the "Look" is a definate plus, any ideal what the effect will be on handling (assuming 7" front / 8" rear)
