We started looking at the camera sets availible when comparing the cost of mirrors at $100 each. Although weather hazardous, we looked at mounting the cameras under the car shrouded infront of the rear wheels quartering away. We placed the small 4" monitor on the door panel inside the car in the line of sight where a side mirror would be, so the muscle memory was inplace. It worked very well accept the monitors were a bit small for me. Systems like this are clearly an option. That monitor looks much better...
