Temp guage is inop. I took out the overflow tanks to paint and reinstalled them and plugged the lead back into the overflow tank and now it's not working? I was going to re-locate it to the water neck area as suggested. I was also told to put a 180 degree thermostat into the car also to block off the warm up tube. do you need a thermostat at all? I have both fans running in front but want to keep the engine cool in 80-90 degree weather. Are both fans suppose to work all the time? Or does the second kick on when the engine gets hotter? I was told that the cooling system is fine if it runs well with no upgrades such as sucker fans. Is this true?. Thanks in advance
