Reply to "Removing gutters"

I have never done this. From what I can remember when I painted my car the gutters are where the roof sheet metal meets the jamb structure. It is welded together. If you cut them off you will have to weld it all back together and smooth it out. Will need some skill. Anyone ever done this???
