This one is sooo easy, but I too had my doubts before I did it ;-) The only thing holding the rear quarters in is the rubber gasket. AND perhaps a layer or two of paint, depending on your car's history. You basically are just going to push it out from the inside face. Leave the metal trim in place. Start inside the windows by prying the gaskets away from the frame all the way around, using a strong set of fingers or a stubby screwdriver or whatever. Don't tear anything, just make sure it is loose all the way around. Then, lift the inside of the gasket up at a ninety degree angle for an inch or two on both sides of an upper corner. AND push the glass at that corner. You should feel it start to push out. Peel the gaskets up and away from the frame while pushing out. Presto. If the removal is meant to be permanent, most of us replace the gasket/trim just minus the glass. Makes window cleaning much easier and access to the electrical is pretty easy with the side engine cover removed. Really just a 15 minute job, both sides.
