Reply to "Removing the transmission."

There are 2 allen head bolts inside the bell housing that have to be removed before seperating the ZF from the bellhousing.
Therefore, you need to loosen all the bolts from the bell housing and remove the ZF intact with the bell housing.
Once out, you can seperate the two.
Wheel spreader bar, 1/2 shafts, ZF mounts, probably mufflers to get the 1/2 shafts out, bell housing bolts, starter bolts, pull back, left up and away you go.
Once out and inside, you can remove you pressure plate and the disc. the flyweel remains on the motor. Should you remove the flywheel, Be careful, shit is heavy and will cause you to feel some pain if it falls on your feet. Been there and done that 4 years ago.
Don't do it alone, use a cherry picker or have friends, strong ones to help you pull the ZF. It may be little, but it weighs a ton.
