Ouch. Bummer brother.
They go on the bottom of the inside of the Bellhousing to the ZF. There's no way to get to them unless you pull the ZF & Bell Housing.
Some of the other guys might be able to tell you if at this point they should or need to be put in. I can't say for sure. You might be OK without them.
