Replacement Fuel Pump for brand new engine

As you can see the new engine is fitted and performing admirably. Everything is brand new except the block and as is always the case, it is the weakest component that lets it all down.

On driving the car last week, the fuel pump showed itself lacking but then it is as old as the car itself. Does anyone have anyrecommendations beyond a straight replacement?
