Hi Peter, your car looks great. I like the gold color. Were the wheels originally gold from the factory?

René ... yes tires "fit" within the wheel houses and fender arches of a narrow body without rubbing; even without the riveted flares.

Those wheels were originally designed for 255mm tires (H60 Arrivas), but were also used for the 285mm P7s. Guys use 295mm tires today, and some use 305mm. The wheel's offset was good for the 255mm tire, and is progressively less and less ideal as the tires get wider.
